Sex Aids for the Terrified; A journey into the mysteries and myths surrounding sex toys – Mary Clegg

This is the first of a series of blogs that hopes to dispel those mysteries and myths.

For any retailer, the enviable aspect of Sex Toys is that they create an almost universally strong reaction from the public be that the giggly response of the young planning a stag/hen night or attending a Sex Toy Party to the revulsion borne of fear or ignorance of the benefits such products can bring. Used imaginatively, Sex Toys – Sex Aids – can be a valuable resource to enhance the sexual experience.

The trick is in knowing how to introduce the idea in lovemaking and where to start. The matter may need to be addressed by knowing what is suitable in a solo, relationship, same sex or disabled context and how fantasy and sexual discovery play their part.
