The Mary Clegg Clinic employs a number of therapists. All are directly supervised and mentored by Mary Clegg thus ensuring stringent control of quality throughout the therapy process. Many of the therapists have enhanced CRB clearance, essential for working with individuals under 18 or with families. All our therapists have professional indemnity insurance and the Clinic is covered overall. They are all subject to the codes of conduct and ethical frameworks of their governing body and we have a robust complains procedure in place to ensure you have a positive experience with us.
As we have a number of different locations where you can be seen or you can have a a phone, skype or facetime sessions as well if your commitments make it difficult to attend personally.
At the initial booking, we look at where and how you want therapy to take place and then match you with one of our therapists who is most suited to you.
If you have a particular preference for seeing a named therapist, please let us know at the time of booking so we can assess their availability. We do offer a limited number of low-cost counselling so please ask when you book to see whether we have availability. Please note that if you want low-cost counselling you will need to be more flexible with the time and days of the week that you wish to be seen.
We have robust protocols and outcome measures to ensure that you get the best possible experience with your therapist but the therapeutic alliance (your relationship with your therapist) is special and unique for the work to be productive, so you are under no obligation to continue with this therapist if the fit does not feel right for you. The Clinic will always endeavour to ensure that your experience exceeds expectations.
