The clinic provides its own equipment if needed.  Mary passionately believes that informed sexual and relationship information and education leads to better and more fulfilling relationships and her workshops encompass all of her knowledge and are engaging and educational.

Training and Education

Mary Clegg MSc COSRT Accred. is an accredited Sex and Relationship Psychotherapist. Mary has obtained an MSc in Sex and Relationship Psychotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University. Many years’ of hands-on experience working with the sexual and relational aspects of couples has resulted in a wealth of experience and expert knowledge especially from working with very complex client issues. She is an integrative therapist with specialist training in sexual medicine and works mainly using Systemic, Psychodynamic and CBT models.

Mary has a proven track record in the delivery of extremely high-quality training to healthcare professionals.  This is demonstrated in the outcome measures from around 30 presentations/workshops across the UK in the last 3 years. She has also been a senior lecturer and course co-ordinator at Sheffield University Medical School delivering the sexual medicine module to Student Doctors.

Many participants have written to say how much they have enjoyed their CPD with her and her outcome measures fully demonstrate the aims and objectives of the training event have been achieved. She has conducted masterclass-level training days for couple counsellors, psychosexual therapists, GPs, nursing and disability groups with the approval of the Royal College of Physicians and The College of Sex and Relationship Therapists. She is one of the trainers on the Rheum2talk programme organised by the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.
